Hartberg plans transfer for Amady Camara
TSV Hartberg has shown interest in Sturm Graz forward Amady Camara. The 21-year-old could return to the Austrian Bundesliga after a disappointing loan spell in France. Hartberg, currently sixth in the league with 33 points, is looking to strengthen its attack.
Why Camara?
Camara returned to Sturm Graz after a frustrating loan at relegated Ligue 1 side FC Nantes, where he managed just 162 minutes across ten appearances without scoring or assisting. In Graz, he has also struggled, appearing in 36 games with only 986 minutes and one goal.
What does this mean for Hartberg?
After selling Elias Havel and losing Patrik Mijic, Hartberg urgently needs attacking reinforcements. Camara could be a young, talented addition, having shown promise with six goals and four assists in Sturm Graz’s second team.
Who else could join?
Besides Camara, free agent Angelo Gattermayer is another option. The right winger scored twice and assisted twice for WAC last season, including a crucial Cup Final goal in May 2025.
Hartberg has scored 29 goals and conceded 24 this season, giving them a +5 goal difference. With five points behind leaders Sturm Graz, the race for European spots remains tight.
