Hartberg extends the contract with defender Paul Komposch for two more years until summer 2028. The 25-year-old had to miss almost the entire last season due to a cruciate ligament injury. However, he celebrated his successful comeback in the last two championship rounds against SK Sturm Graz and FC Red Bull Salzburg. Paul Komposch has been under contract with TSV since summer 2023 and has played 75 competitive games in the blue and white jersey so far. The defender is very happy to continue playing for TSV Hartberg. After his long injury and a difficult last season, the anticipation for the upcoming season is naturally particularly high. With Markus Schopp, the coach who brought him to Hartberg is also back. Coach and technical director Markus Schopp is pleased with the extension: „With the extension of Pauli Komposch, TSV gets not only sporting but also leadership quality.“ Last summer, Paul Komposch still wanted to leave TSV Hartberg free of charge. However, they exercised an option to extend the contract. This was followed by a legal dispute over whether this clause was legally valid. After a cruciate ligament injury in training, the protest was withdrawn. Paul Komposch says: „I'm very happy to continue playing for TSV Hartberg. My goal is to get back to my old performance, help the team as much as possible and have a successful season together.“
